Kosher

Kashrut is the body of Jewish law dealing with what foods we can and cannot eat and how those foods must be prepared and eaten.

Contrary to popular misconception, Rabbis or other religious officials do not "bless" food to make it kosher.

Almost any food, and any ethnic cuisine can be kosher if it is prepared in accordance with Jewish Law.

While health is not the reason that Jews keep kosher, kosher food is often found to be much healthier than it's non-kosher counterpart.

Serafina Custom Design Catering adheres to a strict kashrut policy, using only the finest certified kosher ingredients and separate bakeware, utensils and ovens.

Testimonials

"We ordered our wedding cake from Serafina Custom Design Catering. We knew little about wedding cakes, so Lisa suggested we show her pictures of any cakes we liked and said she could replicate them. She did exactly as promised, sparing us much time and effort. The cake, an improved version of the one we found on-line, looked and tasted wonderful, even after a long car ride from Charlotte, NC to Detroit, MI. We received many compliments on the cake. In addition, Lisa did an incredible job coordinating the kosher supervision and certification in two cities".
